Winter storms can be amazingly beautiful, and as long as I don't have to shovel my own driveway afterwards, I don't mind them a bit when enjoyed from the inside of my nice warm house. Kenai is right on Cook Inlet, and we get a lot of wind off the inlet year round. When the snows fallng heavy and the wind is blowing you can hardly see the house across the street, it's just a whirl of white and gray.
