One of my favorite themes - babies on their mama's backs, the first of two designs in this quilt using this theme. My little Eva Rose was always climbing on my back at any chance she could get, so they are inspired by her. These little ducklings are having a blast playing on the lily pads and the water while their mama watches - one of them enjoying a quiet ride on her back while she watches the dragonflies flying overhead.
River Run: Taking a Dip uses batiks from my 2020 River Run Signature Batik Collection with Hoffman California Fabrics. This pattern can be made as an individual pattern as shown above, or combined with the other five River Run patterns to make the complete quilt.
