Although Salmon are the big deal fish up here in Alaska, we also have many other freshwater sport fish in the more than 3 million natural lakes in our State. Alaska's world-renown rainbow trout are found across the southern portion of our State, and are sought after by anglers for their aggressive fight and large size, ranging from 2 to 10+ lbs.
River Run: In the Shallows uses batiks from my 2020 River Run Signature Batik Collection with Hoffman California Fabrics. This pattern can be made as an individual pattern as shown, or combined with the other five River Run patterns to make the complete quilt.
