When I was in college my art professor made a comment one time that to make a living in Alaska as an artist you had to accept that you would need to have a good stock of ‘moose and spruce’ work for the tourism market. Boy he was sure right! Thankfully nature is what inspires my designs and I get endless inspiration by the ‘moose and spruce’ we have in this amazingly stunning State. Funny enough I never tire of Alaska’s inspiration and endless design possibilities and find that it’s not just tourists that enjoy my work, but locals equally.
