my husband, children, parents and myself traveled to Tokyo in the Spring of 2018 to visit friends and see the cherry blossoms (sakura). We timed it perfectly and were there to see the sakura at their most beautiful. It was an amazing experience and one my family will always remember. My kids loved it there and I'm sure we will go back to Japan again. This design was inspired by those incredible cherry bloosoms people travel the world over to see bloom in Japan in the spring.
Japanese Elegance: Sakura uses batiks from my 2021 Return to the Wild Signature Batik Collection with Hoffman California Fabrics. This pattern can be made as a wallhanging or tablerunner.
