Dancing Koi was inspired by all the beautiful Koi Ponds in Hawaii. I am happy just sitting and watching the graceful koi swim and splash around in the sun. Every time I come back from the Islands I have dozens of pictures of koi on my phone, in all shapes and colors. This design started as something completely different, but by the end it was my favorite new design in my 2025 collection. It’s no accident that this design ended up with a Pieces feel about it, as I am myself a Pieces.
Dancing Koi uses my Summer Zen Signature Batik Line with Hoffman California Fabrics. The Laser Kit includes a pattern, all laser cut appliques backed with Lite Steam-a-Seam 2, background, borders and binding. Batting and backing not included.
